Valentina Argiolas
She holds a degree in Business Studies and is responsible for the company's marketing and public relations. Since her childhood she has embraced and cherished a life in the vineyard and the Winery; ever attentive to the deep connection with the territory, nourished by a passion for travel and fascinated by literature, design and art in general, she has focused on the international market.
Francesca Argiolas
She holds a degree in Biological Sciences and is in charge of planning and development. She feels a strong link to her land of origin, and is convinced that tradition is the framework within which to insert innovation and research to protect quality and biodiversity. She spends her free time experimenting with ancient and modern cooking recipes and watching old movies.
Antonio Argiolas
In 2007, after graduating in Viticulture and Enology, he moved from Australia to the United States to start his career. Over the years he obtained diplomas and master degrees in wine, such as the WSET in London. In 2009 he became production manager and started representing the Argiolas wines all over the world. Today, he manages the Winery’s vineyards full-time.
Francesco Deledda
He studied Production and Protection of Agricultural Crops at university, specialising in Viticulture. He is now training consultant on Vine Pruning for the Simonit&Sirch “Vine Master Pruners Academy” and viticultural manager of the Argiolas Winery. His work focuses on the balanced management of the vineyard and the protection of our wine-making heritage.
Mark Pygott
Based in the UK, Mark is a master of wine. Through his multifaceted consulting, marketing, study and research activities, he is a recognised and respected voice in France, Taiwan, China and Australia, markets on which he works continuously.
Tellas
His artistic research was born and raised in Sardinia, just like him. The sea and the unspoilt landscapes of the island, a common feature in Tellas’ work, have conquered the world. In 2015, “The Urban Contemporary Art Guide” listed the artist as one of the top 100 international emerging artists.
Mariano Murru
Technical director of the Argiolas Winery and President of the wine expert association “Assoenologi Sardegna”, his name was included, together with that of six other talented wine experts, in the prestigious “Cult Enologist 2021” list. A former student of Giacomo Tachis, he has won the title of best wine expert in Italy multiple times.
Gianluigi Bacchetta
Professor of Systematic Botany, as well as Director of the Biodiversity Conservation Centre (CCB) and of the “Hortus Botanicus Karalitanus” Botanical Gardens (HBK) at the University of Cagliari. His research focuses on the plant diversity of the Mediterranean and Sardinian agrodiversity.
Marcello Fois
The strength of his fiction and poetry is rooted in the Island, but crosses the sea, speaking multiple languages. The writer was born in Nuoro and his many works include the powerful Chironi triology, published by Einaudi.
Pretziada
Teacher of Latin and Greek with a PhD in Classical Philology, he is a teacher for the Italian Sommelier Foundation. A writer for specialised magazines, he is the face and voice of television programmes dedicated to food and wine; a passionate and knowledgeable expert of wine culture.
Paolo Lauciani
Insegnante di Latino e Greco, dottore di ricerca in Filologia classica, è docente della Fondazione Italiana Sommelier. Firma di riviste specializzate, è volto e voce di trasmissioni televisive dedicate all’enogastronomia, appassionato e sapiente divulgatore della cultura del vino.
